The Sailors Wife

Yeah, another swing, I love swings. They are so fun to work with I know I said I wasn't inspired but today I did get a few ideas and I was very bored this afternoon w/just my soaps so I decided to work on something which turned into this. It was about 8 hours in photoshop CS. Lots of brushwork, the bottom of the dress, hair, and parts of the background etc. are repainted. I really like the softness of her, it was so tempting to make this a bright and bold peice but I really think it looks better like this, sort of misty, sad, romantic...
