Mermaid Calendar

Description

Updated - the calendars will change every Sept. so if you buy it before then it will be for the current year, if you buy it after it will be for the new upcoming year. The front and back no longer have a year - making it "ageless"

There are 12 different mermaids in this calendar. There is very little cropping of the original pieces, mainly the sides to make them slimmer to fit on the left side of the calendar. I have taken the time to write a short blurb to the right of each piece for every month, since you can't read them above, I will post each one here in the description.

January - "Sea Nymph"
[link] "Found primarily in the Northern Seas, and cooler climates. Known for their unique beauty and enchanting ability to lure sailors off their course. Last spotted off the coast of Iceland."

February - "Mermaid's Song"
[link] "Many of the mermaids and sirens are musically gifted and may spend hours lost in their own melodies. Often they are caught off guard by a passing ship."

March - "Mistress of the Sea" (note that I have covered her breast so that this calendar will be appropriate for ALL ages)
[link] "One of the more ancient of the merfolk, this beauty dwells in the deeper parts of the ocean. She is rarely seen by any human and some have started believing she is simply a myth."

April - "Sea Baby"
[link] "Quite possibly one of the sweetest inhabitants of our oceans are the Sea Babies. This little guy was found off the coast of Ireland sunbathing and playing in the surf."

May - "Song for the Sea"
[link] "A stunning specimen, this siren was found just south of the Florida Keys. She played a strange flute type of instrument that not only sounded unusual and enchanting, but it also made bubbles."

June - "Below the Surface"
[link] "One of the warm water dwellers, this amazing creature was found by a local diver just off the eastern shore of Mexico. Some enthusiasts believe the key she holds is for a sunken treasure."

July - "Make a Wish"
[link] "Truly a fantastic sight, this merfolk child was spotted stargazing by a tourist by the Sporades Islands which are located just off the coast of Greece."

August - "Curiosity"
[link] "Some older, perhaps even wiser fishermen believe that the one that got away was the elusive mermaid. They will often smile and recall the countless times they lost their bait without a bite."

September - "The Keepers of Atlantis"
[link] "The Keepers" are a unique species of merfolk, they are the guardians of the ancient city Atlantis. They are almost always seen together with their dolphin companions."

October - "Beast of Prey"
[link] "The only known evidence of what the merfolk actually eat was witnessed by an Italian diver on an expedition off the coast of Rome. Up until this discovery it was believed that they were herbivores."

November - "Clownfish Kiss"
[link] "A recent discovery is this tropical mermaid who bears an amazing resemblance to the Clownfish. Experts suspect that she is the result of a mutated gene and that she may be one of a kind."

December - "Adrift in Dreams"
[link] "There is some controversy over how and where the merfolk sleep. Many say that they simply drift on the current, barely moving at all, simply suspended in dreams just below the surface."
