Just a few things to touch on, firstly thanks to `
nighty for all she did for the Digital Art Galleries, she will be missed

jgfeller and I will do our best as your Digital Art Gallery Directors. Please send us your DD suggestions, questions, etc.
Miscats!
Miscats are artworks that have been uploaded to the wrong gallery, for example, putting a photomanip into digital paintings would be a miscat, and one of the duties of a gallery director is to put this "miscat" where its supposed to go. Something you can do to help greatly with miscats is to
report them when you see them. It helps us as gallery directors to move them into their proper galleries. So while you are browsing those digital galleries make sure to report any miscats you find! Thanks!
Daily Deviations!
I have seen some amazing works landing in my inbox in the last month and I just want to say
keep them coming! Just a few things to keep in mind/remember:
- Many of the digital galleries have their own directors, if it doesn't, send the suggestion to ^cosmosue or ^jgfeller, it MUST be digital!
- If the work you suggest doesn't get featured - don't despair just send us another!
- The amount of favs/watchers a deviation/deviant has is irrelevant!
- Tell us why the work you suggest deserves it, the more interesting the better!
- Guide to a Great DD Suggestion!

I've been prowling the Mixed Media gallery a bit lately, and I can safely say that I've seen hundreds of miscats (more likely there are thousands!) for July alone! And don't get me started on the copyright violations!
There must be some fundamental misunderstand about what Mixed Media means...
Ah well. I'll try to start reporting some of 'em when I have a lull in my current projects.
We'll miss `nighty but since we have you, Sue I feel like we're still in the best of hands!
