I have spent so so much time on this. Maybe more than any other peice in my gallery. I have been working on this for roughly 2 months off and on. Today I wanted to finish it, I spent another entire day at work on it. I have changed the background I think 5 times, the eyes I have painted and re-painted I think 4-5 times...mouth/lips...countless times it was the most frusterating thing for me.

I want to say (before you rip her apart) that the fingers are SUPPOSED to be like that, I purposely redrew them so they would appear to be frog like, or otherworldly, like a creature or a pixie...I wanted her to really appear to be like a fairy or pixie of the marshes, strange fingers, large long ears, dragonflies, mist, etc...she is not supposed to look like a realistic human, shes fake, shes fantasy she is one of my characters I have made up. Please consider that when commenting. I know shes not perfect, but its to the point now where if I have to redraw her lips one more time, I may just scream. She has been just a hair away from the trash can until today when I finally dedicated myself to finishing it. I am discouraging critique on this one unless its technical stuff but pls keep in mind this is fantasy art and its not meant to be exactly realistic. =)

Technical Stuff...
The pose/parts of clothes are referenced from ~Dove-Stock
The wings are a repainted purchased resource
I used some brushes from `spiritsighs (mist/lights) & =MonicaWeasley (tree branches in the distance) Also a couple tree trunks in the distance from *AutumnsGoddess
All work was done in Photoshop CS with mouse & Wacom Tablet too many hours to remember, probably well over 24-30 hours

I think it's lovely! I can clearly see the amount of time you must have put into it. It's a fantastic piece!

i love the interesting color scheme.. its like a greenish tinted pearl or something. especially on the wings & dress. i'm glad you kept going with it and didn't trash it, i like it alot :D
:iconkenjie:
Everything looks great :D The only thing I see a bit off is her ears. I think it should be a bit closer to her left wing since she's not really facing directly to her left... you can still see 1/8 of her face on the left side so the ears... you get what I'm trying to say right? It's kinda hard to explain but her left ear should be a bit closer to her left wing. Just an opinion :D

You never cease to amaze me with your work...the amount of time and love you put into it. Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like inside your imagination...I love how you got the sunlight glow just perfect...VERY beautiful!
