Another mermaid to add to my growing collection! (Yes I am aiming towards something with both mermaids & fairies ) I may never change, I may always love to paint mermaids, fairies, unicorns, and other fantasy creatures, its what I do...Its what I love

Lost a lot on this one when I shrunk it down to post on DA, so there will definetly be a detailed shot put up w/in the next couple hours I hope.

<sup>This started as a background, I created an underwater scene in Vue 5 (3d) using the ruins/fish/plants, pretty basic stuff. I rendered the dolphin seperate from the scene, but he was also done in Vue 5, however, he had no eyes, and he was a flat very boring grey, so he got a paint over, as well as some bits of the background, tons of highlighting added & shadows.

This was 13+ hours in Photoshop, plus 3+ hours in Vue 5.

Go easy on her, this was not an easy piece, in fact it was quite a challenge, underwater is sometimes quite difficult to pull off, and I am still not sure its right, I am sure there is lots wrong with her, but alas, she is now finished because I cannot stand to work on her anymore right now, maybe ever! LOL
