I think the title pretty much speaks for itself.

As far as the work involved, everything was done in photoshop CS, photo was used for mainly a reference with some overpainting for the woman and her child. Original photo can be found here, please check it out! [link]

It reminds me of those faerie tales where the faeries swap their own children for a human and raise the human child and let the faerie child be raised by humans... beautiful work.
