Nightmare by cosmosue Nightmare by cosmosue
Please Full View

It is my understanding from having played various online games and offline RPGs that the "Nightmare" is a magical fantasy creature, not of this world, that appears mostly equine in form, except for the fiery bits on the feet/tail/mane, and its ability to use magic/cast spells. It is also thought to be much stronger than a regular horse. This is really just my take on the subject, for I have never met a Nightmare face to face, and if I did, I would most certainly try to "tame" it. *chuckle* =P

P6/Milhorse/mist brushes `spiritsighs & digital painting w/my beloved wacom.

This is not some "horse brush" this was a render I did in Poser 6 and painted over, just as the credits say above

Thanks for looking.

It lies in the name, really. It's a mare that comes at night, and traditionally your bad dreams were apparently caused because this creature kidnapped you in your sleep and rode around with you on its back.

... Or something. Crazy stuff.

I really like how you portray it though. Top notch!

you should probably credit the maker of the base horse image. >.> i've seen the brushes where this horse comes from. So you need to credit them.

Also, perhaps the person who made the brushes, has the horse, and the pose, and therefor created the brushes themselves much the same way I created this work.

And if the brushes are identical to this image with the painted mane and tail then perhaps they have stolen from me.

Do you have the link to these brushes, because I would love to see if that is the case.

they dont have the painted mane. but i asked the person who made brushes and they said that it wasnt theirs. i'm sorry. it just looked like theirs. >.< i'm sorry. it was just the look of the 3d model that made me think that it was someone elses. It's amazing though. =D

Really? You should read what I did credit, because this wasn't a brush! P6 is a program called Poser 6, and is used to render 3d images, the horse used is the "milhorse" which is also known as the millennium horse from DAZ3d which I own, its a 3d model. You can find it here [link] and it comes with various poses for which to apply to the horse, plus you can buy additional poses to make using the horse easier, and this is one of those poses.

So before you accuse me of not crediting a source, please be sure you know what you are talking about as I do not take to this type of accusation very lightly, I have worked hard to get where I am.

Also before going about accusing random people on their deviations to which you know nothing about, be sure to send them a note in private if you have a problem with something because you MIGHT just be WRONG as you are in this case.

I don't even own horse brushes, I don't need them, as I can render out things like this MYSELF in 3D and do as much painting as I like, or I can simply paint it myself.

Thanks though.
