I have wanted to do a mermaid piece for months and months!!! I couldn't find the "perfect" stock, for some reason every time I tried to do something mermaid-y I always trashed it because I was so unhappy with it, so this is my 4th and final attempt, and I decided it was a keeper I have never had so much trouble with a project like I did with the whole mermaid "project" lol

So please, enjoy her, I may never do another mermaid again! lol

The tail is hand drawn, with the exception of the bottom part which is heavily manipulated and partially redrawn. Approx. 6 hours in photoshop CS from start to finish. Hair is also re-painted, as is many parts of the cloth.
