Originally done for the TAC (Themed Art Challenges) that went on today inside the =DMchat room! There was 5 rounds (I was only there for the last two) and participants are given a theme and 1 hour to complete an artwork, my 1 hour painting of this little turtle is here [link]

...the theme was "Challenge" and its a common known fact that baby sea turtles face a huge challenge getting from the nest to the water safely after they hatch. Thankfully this one made it

After the challenges I spent a few more hours on the little guy and decided it was good enough to put in my gallery.

All hand painted from scratch, ref used for the turtle from sxc.
